Gårdsfisk was founded by entrepreneurs Johan Ljungquist (marine biologist) and Mikael Olenmark Dessalles (civil engineer). The water-loving salesman and the technically brilliant "constructor" teamed up - and developed the concept of "land-based fish farming". Since 2013, Gårdsfisk has been producing fish on a farm in Skåne, and our products are sold all over the country. Currently, Gårdsfisk has about 35 employees and has an ambitious growth plan for the coming years. The farm is located in Skättilljunga - 25 minutes from Kristianstad, 45 minutes from Lund, and 55 minutes from Malmö.

About the position

As we handle live fish, staffing is required even on weekends. We are now looking for several people who are willing to work at least one weekend per month (but it is possible to work more if desired or during holiday periods). Working hours are 08:00-14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays (overtime pay applies). Tasks include feeding the fish, checking automatic feeding, following daily routines, monitoring water parameters, disinfecting and maintaining the systems, and overseeing water quality. The work is carried out on the farm in Skättilljunga.

About you

Perhaps you have another job on the side? Or do you just want to work weekends? Then you are the one we are looking for! You who apply are meticulous, self-driven, and do not mind working independently. You should also enjoy a job where you stand and walk most of the day. We also believe that you have experience with animals and an understanding of animal welfare and the need for daily supervision. It is an advantage if you have experience or interest in technical systems, such as PLC. A driver's license and access to a car are required.
